FAQ’s

WHAT IS PERPETUAL ADORATION?

When an individual commits for an uninterrupted hour of Eucharistic devotion in front of the exposed Eucharist, it is known as a Holy Hour. The inspiration for the Holy Hour is Matthew 26:40 when in the Garden of Gethsemane the night before his crucifixion, Jesus asks Peter: “So, could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?”. Perpetual Adoration is where there is an adorer present in the chapel before the exposed Most Blessed Sacrament, both during the day and throughout the night, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can sit in silence, read, pray, and adore God in his presence by being at the chapel on a certain day and time each week. You can arrange to switch the occasional hour with another adorer if your schedule conflicts.
